Technical Project Manager 


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day coordination and execution for all CCDS projects 
  • Engage with research staff across MGH, BWH, CCDS and the Partners HealthCare System and other resources to coordinate and manage updates for all projects 
  • Coordinate clinical, research and technology personnel to move projects forward 
  • Develop, maintain and adhere to internal project management tools, processes and methodologies 
  • Manage project definition, milestone development, execution, and reporting across all projects 
  • Coordinate CCDS resources to deploy CCDS algorithms into the clinical workflow; manage iterative feedback into the QA/R&D teams 
  • Manage external relationships with data scientists/machine learning engineers (universities and commercial entities), including support for the Internal Review Board (IRB) process 
  • Collaborate with relevant societies (ACR, RSNA, etc.) and governance groups (CMS, FDA, etc.) to ensure CCDS compliance with standards and regulations 
  • Work with CCDS senior clinical and administrative management to identify key solutions that will be developed and released each quarter 
  • Provide CCDS with ad-hoc support for presentations and meetings 
  • Ensure transparency and cross team communication among CCDS and Partners Healthcare leadership teams 
  • Work with CCDS to create abstracts of ideas/concepts and business cases for discussion with leadership 
  • Track and manage weekly updates of project activity (e.g., milestones, success, blockers, etc.) for distribution to leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Information Services, Healthcare, or related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in Healthcare Informatics and/or technical project management required 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technologies utilized within radiology informatics solutions (RIS, PACS and Voice) 
  • Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint required, and database software strongly preferred 
  • Demonstrated work experience managing projects in a healthcare IT/radiology setting, including knowledge of software development processes 
  • Experience managing complex system integrations using HL7, DICOM and other industry standards – a strong plus 
  • Knowledge and understanding of clinical workflows 
  • Experience using project management tracking systems (MS Project, VersionOne, Confluence, JIRA, etc.) 
  • Experience with scripting, SQL query writing or business intelligence tools a strong plus. 
  • Understanding of application development including analysis, coding, testing, and documenting using iterative software methodologies (Agile) 
  • A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements
